This was a late summer gig. Cover was $5. The opener was a local act called 'Zions Abyss'. As I recall, there was a crowd of about 150-200. At one point, someone brought a tray of shooters onto the drum kit. A band rep informed them that 'noone in the band drinks!' They took the shooters away. Jeff Waters &co were excellent that night. They were touring behind their 3rd album, 'Set the World on Fire'. The encore was 'Alison Hell' & 'Hell Bent For Leather' by Judas Priest. I think they had previously spent some time opening for J.P. Awesome night! I look forward to seeing Jeff Waters &co. again @ the Starlite Room on June 17, 2017. Comments?

This was Aaron Randall's only album/ tour with the band. Also, Mike Mangini (Dream Theatre, ex-Extreme) was on drums for this album/ tour.

Saw this same tour in Calgary, it was SO SAD!! that there were only about 20 people at this show! The bouncers were assholes and wouldn't let you head bang, they were worried we would start a mosh pit. So, we would slowly start headbanging and then if we got out of control (Which meant really banging our heads) they would tap us on the shoulder. I wanted to kick some ass, so frustrating. But I will NEVER forget this show. It was AMAZING,, everyone played immaculate,. it was so awesome and Jeff Waters has the charisma of Elvis... wow .... Can't wait for the show this summer!
