Anyway, on to S.T!! They opened with 'You Can't Bring Me Down.' Mike Muir, the sole original member, was joined by legendary drummer Dave Lombardo(of Slayer fame) & 3 other quality musicians. Notable moments: 'I Saw Your Mommy', 'How Will I Laugh Tomorrow...', & 'Pledge Your Allegiance'. Near the end of 'Pledge Your Allegiance', Psycho Miko invited the crowd up on stage with the band to chant 'S.T'!! That stage was full, man. You gotta feel sorry for the band's roadies, who are tasked with making sure that no equipment gets damaged. At other times during the show, audience members got past security & dove off stage. Security did grab a few of them & took them off side stage before they could leap. A good size crowd was on hand; not sold out, but they did open up the upstairs, unlike for Uriah Heep. Big shout out to Delion, Pam, Jeff, & Bill!! Metal brother Delion actually got up on stage with the crowd for 'Pledge Your Allegiance' & was inches away from Dave Lombardo. (Delion's a drummer too).Metal brother Delion was headbanging away by the bass drums, got warned by security & had Lombardo & the chicks laughing. The band displayed tremendous energy & skill. They still rock & kick ass!! Comments?
This was one ass-kicking show!! Got to the Union Hall just after 9:00, just in time to catch Havok. There was another band before them, but I missed them. I think they were called 'Extinction A.D'. Anyhow, I enjoyed Havok. I was especially impressed by their drummer; he hit the skins hard, fast, & skillfully. They played in the city 2 years ago, opening for Megadeth.
