Dark corners lurk
The Magi's guards they smirk - HA!
Twin turbos ignite
We won't give up without a fight
In the Palace of the Magi
In the Palace of the Magi
The Magi attacks
But this Judas Priest won't cut him no slack

Was it because: a|) He was too shy b) As Priest had a strong appeal among younger people, he did not want to overly sexualize the band's image. c) MTV & Muchmusic both refused to show something that ugly on the air. d) All of the above The answer, of course, is d. Comments? So, today I took my parents to New Asian Village for a Mother's Day Buffet. The servers were serving complimentary glasses of orange juice, over dry ice to create a cool smoldering effect, to female patrons. However, they were served from authentic Loblaws No Name juice containers. Now, I've got nothing against Loblaws or their juice. But if I'm trying to project an image as a somewhat 'upscale' establishment, I wouldn't advertise the fact that I'm serving it. So, Priest have played their main set & now it's time for the encore. Rob: "We'll do 'Another Thing Coming' & get outta here. Scott:"But Rob, what about 'Painkiller'?" Rob: "We drop it". Scott: "Gotta have that hoot, eh, Rob?" Rob: "Do you wanna sing this shit, Scott?! Huh?! Do ya?!" Note: The above exchange actually occurred between 2 members of a tribute band I was a roadie for. Names have been changed to protect the innocent (and the guilty). |
