This gig was fairly well attended. Not sold out, but close to it. I expected Hammerfall to close the night but they were sandwiched in the middle. Anyways, they were fairly decent. They played a lot of hits:'Last Man Standing', 'Renegade', & - of course - 'Hearts on Fire' to close the set. They played for about 1hr 15min. Delain closed the night. I must confess I hadn't heard of this band before. The chick singer wore a shiny, gold colored skirt. They played a brand of symphonic metal. Fairly decent too. The opener, Ravenous, I wasn't too impressed with. They sounded like some generic power metal band. On a more positive note, they played a Ghost cover. I forget which song, but it was off the Meliora album. Overall, the evening was a good time, & I felt relaxed & contented upon leaving. The metalheads were definitely out in force. T-shirts seen that night: King Diamond, Dio, Iron Maiden (one guy had an event shirt from a Maiden gig in Moscow, Russia!) , Nightwish, Striker. Those are the ones that I recall. Comments?
