2. You can walk into Superstore, take a shit on the floor and noone asks you to leave.
3. Vladimir Putin calls and - when you pick up - asks if you can spare a few minutes.
4. When you say no, he apologizes & hangs up.
1. Restaurants let you walk in & use their bathroom without ordering anything.

It was a Sunday night. The show was sold out, 17000 at Northlands Coliseum. For this show, they even sold seats behind the stage( usually that area's taped off). This was on a leg of the "Use Your Illusion" tour. Axl kept the crowd waiting for a good 90 minutes before they went on. People were tossing beach balls around. Before one number (November Rain? Don't Cry?) they had a couch brought out on stage and strippers brought them pizza. Axl shared with the front row. The encore was "Paradise City".
The opener was The Brian May Band. (For those who don't know, Brian May was the guitarist from Queen). I just returned (Nov 6/2015) from seeing a GNR tribute @ alocal Pub/eatery in the west end; "The Nightrain". They were solid & looked the part. These guys are young (I'd say early 20s). Comments? |
