On Sunday July 23/2017, Peter Frampton played a gig with The Steve Miller Band at the Treasure Island Resort and Casino in Welch, Minnesota. As with any live performance, there was a high degree of choreography involved. The band counts on the sound & lighting crews to do their job. Naturally, they are paid by the band -- whom people are paying good money to see. On this particular evening, a cameraman DID NOT stick to the script but did what HE thought looked cooler. wmgk.com/2017/07/26/peter-frampton-issues-apology-regarding-concert-video-screen-incident/ Clearly, the fans are paying to see Frampton. It's his name on the bill, his show. Does he not deserve to have control over his presentation? The techie can be replaced without anyone noticing but if Frampton's replaced all of a sudden it's just a Peter Frampton cover band. A word to the wise: never forget who's paying your bills.
